Ok giving it away now, this is the card we will be making on Tuesday at the Coffee and Card Class. Let's see how many read my blog! Instructions will follow after my class.
Did a class on Scrapbook background pages. Was really happy with this one, the girls loved it! Believe it or not is using only two colours, Crumb Cake and Soft Suede. Prepared the page with Mod Podge first. Then crumpled tissue and covered again in mod podge. Then let dry, and added water with the ink refils to create a mottled vintage background and here's the end result!
Saturday morning has brought some great fun here at Wynning Creations. Had my first scrapbooking class for 2021 where we made three back grounds only for the girls to take away and add their own photo and finishing touches. I will await their photos to share with you. We had so much fun. Here are the pages I created first of all which are all fully finished. The main aim of the class was to just create backgrounds to see how versatile the inks from Stampin Up can be.
The first page was using tissue paper as a background applied with Mod Podge but we only used TWO yes only 2 inks to achieve this multi coloured back ground. Crumb Cake and Soft Suede. These two colours achieve a great vintage and sepia tones to your background.
The second page we used the masking technique with white embossing powder and three different coloured blues, Pool Party, Balmy Blue and Pacific Point. We did actually try a little bit of Night of Navy today in the class well.
The third page is a very simple stamping page but we added the gorgeous new gold flakes to give the page a bit of bling.
So you can see not all are Stampin Up products, some are retired Stampin Up products some are brand new. It doesn't matter what you have in your craft stash start looking and you can achieve some great effects.
Here are Barb and Joanne hard at work and then proudly displaying their beautiful backgrounds.
Well done girls! I look forward to seeing your completed pages.
Want to come and learn some great techniques please call me to book into a class or to arrange a class time that suits. (Beth 0419721561).
Hope you all have a fantastic weekend!
Well hello all. This weeks classes have started and realised I haven't shared my projects and classes from last week. Mind you a busy weekend for us Wynns with two grand children having birthday parties and we all know how exhausting but fun they can be!
Last weeks special needs theme was "Vintage" and oh boy did we have fun. Some lovely old photos were put into the girls albums for safe keeping. I loved Jeanette's photo which was of the house where her dad lived which is in, if my memory is correct, Barbados! Wow what a house. Just beautiful. Kelly scrapbooked a photo of her great grandparents. Naomi had one with of her on Halloween with a scarecrow! Here is my page and then some pics of the girls.
Once again the girls had so much fun! Each week I see improvement after improvement! Well done all. I especially love all their smiling faces when they are finished and get to put it in their albums! This week is Christmas theme so I am really looking forward to that. Just finished prepping their pages. Watch this space

Next class is 23rd of March at 9.30am ar Round Table Coffee Gawain Rd Bracken Ridge, the coffee is YUMMY! Cost is only $5 and you get to make your own greeting card.

Hope you have a great week.
Good Morning all,
Well a small group at Coffee and Card Class this week with Judy and Gloria as the stars. The card theme was a male card and I think this card ticks all the boxes. Some people find male cards difficult but this set from Stampin Up "Beautiful World" is a great one for the males and the travellers (not that there are too many of them at the moment). I have made two, just changed the sayings around. All the products used are listed below.
The background is using the Old World Paper 3D embossing folder. I then used the heat and emboss powder then the gold flakes to give a little gold highlight to the background. This look can also be achieved by gently running a gold ink pad down the embossed paper which is what the girls did in the class - a great effect. The DSP used is the co-ordinating papers A World of Good DSP available in the annual catalogue page 150. A great set of papers for scrapbooking travel pages and for male cards and for numerous other projects. I love this DSP so much and use it that I have had to buy two lots of it!!! Very versatile paper! Two of the feathers and embossed with gold and one is stamped in night of navy. The ribbon is an expired velvet ribbon but any Night of Navy ribbon would do. I die cut the "World" in gold foil, stamped the sentiments in Night of Navy and then added a couple of Gold faceted Gems
All the products used at listed below and here are the girls with their cards: I will be demonstrating the new gold flakes on my FACEBOOK LIVE!
NEXT COFFEE AND CARD CLASS IS 9TH MARCH 9.30am AT ROUND TABLE COFFEE GAWAIN ROAD BRACKEN RIDGE BOOKINGS ESSENTIAL TO BETH ON 0419721561. Cost is only $5 for the class everything supplied.
Also my very special ladies had fun this week the theme was abstract so they could use any photos they wished. I used the beautiful Butterfly Gala stamp set and co-ordinating punch. I embossed the background using the Shimmery White embossing paste for the girls so all they had to do was to stamp some speckles and paste all the embellisments and photos on. I think they did a great job. We also put a few metallic pearls around. They picked their favourite colour and we did a little colour wash to add a touch of colour as it was all white, grey and cream tones. They were all very proud of their creations.
Sorry Nomes forgot to get your pic this week!
Here's my page I did! I captured a pic of Kelly last week waving and saying hi, how happy does she look!
Don't forget the Facebook Live on Saturday Night 6th March there will be a door prize to give away worth over $50 and any orders placed over $50 will receive free shipping. Make sure you tune in to see some tips and demos for cardmaking and scrapbooking! Hope you can join me!
Until next time,
Keep on Stampin.
Good morning everyone!
I know its Wednesday but had the Coffee and Card class today instead of last Tuesday and will have another one next Tuesday to get back in alignment with every 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month at Round Table Coffee Gawain Road Bracken Ridge.
Today the girls had lots of fun and mischief making this beautiful card using the new Quite Curvy Stamps and Curvy Dies. The supplies used are listed below. Such a lovely card, can't take credit for the initial design thought which was CASED from Donna Leonard. A beautiful card I thought. The stamp set and/or bundle is just gorgeous and is on page 23 of the mini catalogue. Saleabration ends on 28th February so if you want your free products you will need to place an order of $90 or more to be eligible to chose your free gift/s from the Saleabration catalogue. I just realised I didn't post my pictures from last weeks special needs class, how could I forget my favourite girls!!! Here they are making their Birthday Page! Each had a photo of a birthday party and it was a very bright and cheerful colourful page even if I do so say myself. So much fun as always. Now, who is having the most fun, the girls or their carers? Hard to say but I love having them all here. I think they liked the morning tea as well! I did send them in the newsletter but if you didn't see them here they are in all their glory! Such beautiful girls!!!
Cheeky Naomi! Gotta watch her, she keeps tickling me!! :)
Jeanette with the lovely Janette!!!
Caroline with her gorgerous Carer Janette!
Kelly with the lovely smile!
Well that's a wrap to today!
Until next time, keep on Stampin or do whatever makes you happy!
What are you all up to today? Here's my desk as I am busy prepping for the Embossing Class on Saturday. A sneak peek for the class. Also includes morning tea and dietary requirements can be arranged. Please call to book in on 0419721561 if you live in Brisbane.
I also didn't get around to posting the pics from my beautiful girls in the Special Needs classes last week. The theme was Beach and they came with pictures of them at the beach and now have a beautiful page to add to their albums. They had so much fun. (Permissions given).
Well a quick post from me today as I've got to get back in the craft room after my coffee!!!
