This weeks Cards and Classes

Good Morning all,

Well a small group at Coffee and Card Class this week with Judy and Gloria as the stars.  The card theme was a male card and I think this card ticks all the boxes.  Some people find male cards difficult but this set from Stampin Up "Beautiful World" is a great one for the males and the travellers (not that there are too many of them at the moment).  I have made two, just changed the sayings around.   All the products used are listed below.

The background is using the Old World Paper 3D embossing folder.  I then used the heat and emboss powder then the gold flakes to give a little gold highlight to the background.  This look can also be achieved by gently running a gold ink pad down the embossed paper which is what the girls did in the class - a great effect.   The DSP used is the co-ordinating papers A World of Good DSP available in the annual catalogue page 150.  A great set of papers for scrapbooking travel pages and for male cards and for numerous other projects.  I love this DSP so much and use it that I have had to buy two lots of it!!!  Very versatile paper!  Two of the feathers and embossed with gold and one is stamped in night of navy.  The ribbon is an expired velvet ribbon but any Night of Navy ribbon would do.  I die cut the "World" in gold foil, stamped the sentiments in Night of Navy and then added a couple of Gold faceted Gems

All the products used at listed below and here are the girls with their cards:  I will be demonstrating the new gold flakes on my FACEBOOK LIVE!

NEXT COFFEE AND CARD CLASS IS 9TH MARCH 9.30am AT ROUND TABLE COFFEE GAWAIN ROAD BRACKEN RIDGE  BOOKINGS ESSENTIAL TO BETH ON 0419721561.  Cost is only $5 for the class everything supplied.

Also my very special ladies had fun this week the theme was abstract so they could use any photos they wished.  I used the beautiful Butterfly Gala stamp set and co-ordinating punch.  I embossed the background using the Shimmery White embossing paste for the girls so all they had to do was to stamp some speckles and paste all the embellisments and photos on.  I think they did a great job.  We also put a few metallic pearls around.  They picked their favourite colour and we did a little colour wash to add a touch of colour as it was all white, grey and cream tones.  They were all very proud of their creations.

Sorry Nomes forgot to get your pic this week!
