METHOD:
Step 1:
Position your red mat on the page where you would like your photo to be - there is no right or wrong it is totally a personal choice. Then lightly pencil around it so that you know that you can keep this area clear from embossing paste etc.

Step 2:
Stamp the field of poppies along the bottom of your page in Stazon on ink and then colour them using real red ink and an aqua painter.

Step 3:
Randomly stamp the script stamp in Crumb Cake ink anywhere on the page can "Stamp Off" to give it a lighter look and can use this without an acrylic block to give it different "texture".

Step 4:
Stamp the paint blotch stamp in real red randomly over the page.
Step 5:
Put a about a teaspoon of embossing paste on your acrylic mat or craft paper and using your doily as a stencil and using your spatula, spread the paste over the doily in random areas on your page. Ensure you wash your tools straight after use.

Step 6.
While this is drying, use this time to stamp 4 poppies using black memento ink on real red card stock and cut out using the big shot machine. Also cut 2 or 3 decorative borders from real red. You will also need to cut out 8 leaves in Old Olive, one round sentiment block in real read and one black sentiment block.

Step 7.
On the black sentiment block, use your embossing buddy to wipe over any grease marks and then using versamark stamp your sentiment. Then sprinkle white embossing powder and then heat using your heat gun.

Step 8.
When embossing paste is dry, use your old tooth brush dipped in real red re-inker to spray the page with finer ink sprinkles - (this is best done outside within a box to capture excess sprinkle of ink).

Step 9.
Now time to assemble the page.
Layer your mats and your photo. Then decorate as you desire using your cut out poppies etc.

Remember there is no right or wrong to decorating your page - this is the time to let your imagination run wild.
