FAUX PATINA TECHNIQUE

Faux patina technique for facebook

A really easy technique with some great effects. I used Pretty Peacock and Pecan Pie for this card. Hope you like it! Here's the link to the reel! https://youtu.be/nK4JS6sAzIY

Card measusements:
Card Base in Pecan Pie measuring 29.6cms x 21cms scored on the long side at 10.5cms.
Pretty Peacock card front measuring 10cms x 14.3cms.
White cardstock to emboss and blend measuring 9.5cms x 13.8cms.

Emboss the white cardstock using the Distressed Tile embossing folder (or an embossing folder of your choice).

Using your blending brushes, blend sections of Pretty Peacock and Pecan Pie onto the embossed white cardstock.

Take some Gladwrap or cling wrap and scrunch it up into a loose ball. Put a small "puddle" of the copper Metallic Effects onto your grid paper and dip your cling wrap into it. Dab off excess but then lightly dab all over your embossed piece of cardstock. Continue to dab until you have the desired effect.

Mount your embossed and blended card onto your Pretty Peacock mount.
Take two pieces of your Pecan Pie ribbon and link together with two loops and attach at the back of your card.
You can now attach this section to your card base.

On a strip of black cardstock stamp your sentiment from Go To Greetings with versamark and heat emboss using the white embossing powder.
