BEAUTIFUL BALLOON SHAKER CARD

Beautiful balloons shaker card

I demonstrated two different ways to make shaker cards in a recent Facebook/youtube stream. One I used a cellophane self adhesive bag and the other way is using the window sheets from Stampin Up. Here is the link to the youtube video. https://youtube.com/live/xJNdnjLE2PI?feature=share

CUTTING GUIDE:
Basic White:
1 @ 14.9 x 21cms scored at 10.5 on the long side. (card base)
1@ 9 x 13.3cms (this piece is the background for you shaker section.
1@ 8.5 x 3cms (your sentiment piece)
Bubble bath:
1 @ 14.3 x 10cms
1@ 9.9cms
1@ 9 x 3.5cms (sentiment mount)
Window sheet measuring 8 x 8cms

1. Fold and burnish fold for your card base.

Die cut the piece of Bubble Bath cardstock measuring 9 x 9 using a circle die from the Deckled Circles dies.

Attach the window sheet to the back of this piece.

Around the circumference of the circle and on the back side adhere double sided adhesive foam strips. Ensure there is no gap so that the sequins don’t fall out.

On the piece of white cardstock measuring 9 x 13.3cms, line up where your shaker section will be and stamp the little cup cake in Moody Mauve. I used the top half of the card front on this card.

Over the cup cake and within the margins of the shaker window place your sequins. You can place them in the centre of the cup cake to ensure you are within in the margins but even putting a light pencil mark on the margin could help. When you are happy you have enough sequins or “shaker elements”, take the tape off the foam strips and adhere in place over the cupcake and leaving a slight margin around the edges. (TIP: shake it to ensure all sequins are in place

Stamp your sentiment in versamark on the piece of white cardstock measuring 8.5 x 3.5 and heat emboss with gold.

Die cut three balloons using the Bright and Beautiful DSP and two streamers in the distressed gold and decorate your shaker panel.

Adhere your Bubble Bath card front, then attach the top white piece which includes your shaker section and sentiment.
