Butterfly Brilliance - Brilliant!!!!

Hi all,  (Post from 22/3/2021 sorry forgot to post)

A very rainy day here in Brissy so where else would I be but in my craft room.  I received my parcel today from Stampin Up with the beautiful Butterfly Bouquet Suite and I just could wait to make a card with it.  So here it is!  I will put all the instructions and supplies needed below.  I hope you like today's card.

Vintage Scrapbook Page using Tissue paper

Vintage dad with us three girls tissue technique 1

Did a class on Scrapbook background pages. Was really happy with this one, the girls loved it! Believe it or not is using only two colours, Crumb Cake and Soft Suede. Prepared the page with Mod Podge first. Then crumpled tissue and covered again in mod podge. Then let dry, and added water with the ink refils to create a mottled vintage background and here's the end result!

SCRAPBOOKING CLASS A REAL HIT!

Hello everyone,

Saturday morning has brought some great fun here at Wynning Creations.  Had my first scrapbooking class for 2021 where we made three back grounds only for the girls to take away and add their own photo and finishing touches.  I will await their photos to share with you.  We had so much fun.  Here are the pages I created first of all which are all fully finished.  The main aim of the class was to just create backgrounds to see how versatile the inks from Stampin Up can be.

My pages:

The first page was using tissue paper as a background applied with Mod Podge but we only used TWO yes only 2 inks to achieve this multi coloured back ground.  Crumb Cake and Soft Suede.  These two colours achieve a great vintage and sepia tones to your background.

The second page we used the masking technique with white embossing powder and three different coloured blues, Pool Party, Balmy Blue and Pacific Point.  We did actually try a little bit of Night of Navy today in the class well.

The third page is a very simple stamping page but we added the gorgeous new gold flakes to give the page a bit of bling.

So you can see not all are Stampin Up products, some are retired Stampin Up products some are brand new.  It doesn't matter what you have in your craft stash start looking and you can achieve some great effects.

Here are Barb and Joanne hard at work and then proudly displaying their beautiful backgrounds.

Well done girls!  I look forward to seeing your completed pages.

Want to come and learn some great techniques please call me to book into a class or to arrange a class time that suits.  (Beth 0419721561).

Hope you all have a fantastic weekend!

Wynning Creations Weekly Happenings

Well hello all.  This weeks classes have started and realised I haven't shared my projects and classes from last week.  Mind you  a busy weekend for us Wynns with two grand children having birthday parties and we all know how exhausting but fun they can be!

Last weeks special needs theme was "Vintage" and oh boy did we have fun.  Some lovely old photos were put into the girls albums for safe keeping.  I loved Jeanette's photo which was of the house where her dad lived which is in, if my memory is correct, Barbados! Wow what a house.  Just beautiful.   Kelly scrapbooked a photo of her great grandparents.  Naomi had one with of her on Halloween with a scarecrow!   Here is my page and then some pics of the girls.

Once again the girls had so much fun!  Each week I see improvement after improvement!  Well done all.  I especially love all their smiling faces when they are finished  and get to put it in their albums!  This week is Christmas theme so I am really looking forward to that.  Just finished prepping their pages.  Watch this space

Today was Coffee and card Class and we had Kelly come with her lovely carer Lesley!  Judy, Helen and Gloria were also there and we made a great generic card and here are the pics from today's class.  Next class is 23rd of March at 9.30am ar Round Table Coffee Gawain Rd Bracken Ridge, the coffee is YUMMY!  Cost is only $5 and you get to make your own greeting card.

Heres the card we made today using the gorgeous new Dragonfly garden and Positive thoughts dies and Tasteful Touches dies.  All the products are listed below so if you would like any of them be sure to shop online here in my blog.  Look forward to receiving your order.

Just a reminder that this Saturday there is a scrapbooking class at 10am at Wynning Creations cost $20 includes everything to make three background pages using colour and textures  ready for you to add your very own photo and embellishments.  I'm very excited for what I have in mind so hope you can join me.  Bookings essential to me in 0419721561.
