TROPICAL CHIC AND METALLIC HEAT EMBOSSING POWDERS

Good morning to you all,

A very rainy Anzac Day, couldn't make it to the march but managed a Thank You card in the craft room.  The Anzacs did come to mind when I made this card as a big thank you to all who served in the armed forces and fought for our country and for those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

Who said Tropical Chic had to be green and colourful.  This card was inspired by a news presenter's outfit, yep amazing where I get my inspiration and its not the first time a news reader's outfit has inspired me.  I even was inspired once by a contestant on the Chase Australia and took a pic of the TV!  Crazy I know but hey you do what you gotta do!  Mind you I haven't made the card yet but its in my inspiration box!

All the products used in today's card are listed below.  Don't overlook the metallic embossing powders.  Heat embossing is the bomb!  My favourite technique in cardmaking and scrapbooking and I am still in awe every time I see the magic of the powders come to life and shine.  You don't need all the colours either, a simple clear embossing powder can be stamped with versamark ink over any coloured inked sentiment to add a shine to  your sentiment hence giving you a heat embossed shiny sentiment!  You may need a stamp positioning tool to do this to ensure you stamped over the coloured ink.  If you are not sure how to do this and are interested to see how it is done, watch this space as I plan on doing a FB live in the next week or so packed full of techniques!  So stay tuned!!

A reminder only a few days left for the April competition and you have to be in it to win it!  Spend $50 in my store during April and go into the draw to win the Stitched Stars Dies.  You can shop here on my blog at my 24/7 store!

Until next time, keep on Stampin and stay safe and well.
