Beautiful World
Hi Everyone, Have had this gorgeous World of Good Suite since I first saw it in the 2020/21 Annual Catalogue and I had to have it as I have a lot of travel photos to scrap book! Well haven't touched it until today when I made this card. Just wanted to make an inspirational card that I could give to someone to make them feel good about themselves. Everything I needed was in the Suite which is a great way to purchase all the co-ordinating supplies. Check out the "Recipe" on how I made the card. Hope you like today's card. Card base in Very Vanilla cardstock measuring 14.8cms x 21cms. Folded in half in the landscape orientation
Cut a piece of Soft Suede cardstock for the card front measuring 10 x 14.3cms.
Cut a piece 5cm x 10cms of the Gold checked DSP from the World of Good Specialty DSP. (Alternatively you could use any of this DSP)
Cut a piece of Crumb Cake card stock measuring 14.3 x 10cms and emboss this piece using the Old World Paper 3D embossing folder. Sponge around the outside of the crumb cake piece using a sponge dauber and Soft Suede ink.
Cut a tag from the Lovely Labels Pick a Punch and sponge around it also using a sponge dauber and Soft Suede ink. Punch a hole in the top of the tag and also use the globe stamp to "stamp off" the globe image on this small tag.
Now adhere the Gold checked DSP to the lower half of the embossed Crumb Cake cardstock.
Adhere some of the Faux Suede trim to the join of the DSP and wrap the ends around and adhere to ends to the back.
From the Brass Foil sheet (you could use Gold if you dont have the whole Suite) and using the Globe Die, cut a gold globe.
Attach the Soft Suede card front to the card base and then adhere the embossed Crumb Cake card base to that.
Take a piece of Very Vanilla card stock and stamp your sentiment in Soft Suede ink and sponge around the outside of the square. Then stamp some squiggles at the top and bottom of the sentiment. This piece is approximately 3 x 3cms.
I used the new black dimensionals to adhere the globe and the sentiment.
I had some white Baker's Twine which I ran over the crumb cake ink pad to give it an old string look but you could use any string or twin you have on hand, even gold thread would look nice too. Thread this in the hole of the small tag.
