Baby Wipe Technique with Season of Chic and Seaside Bay

A delicate card incorporating the baby wipe technique using Coastal Cabana, Granny Apple Green and Balmy Blue for those gorgeous sea colours.

PREPARING YOUR CARD BASE AND CARD FRONT
Take a piece of Coastal Cabana measuring 14.9cms x 21cms and on the long side score at 10.5cms. This will give you your card base. Put aside until ready to assemble your card.
You should have a piece of basice white cardstock measuring 10cms x 14.3cms. This piece will be your card front and what you will be working on. You will need more white cardstock for die cutting and stamping.

On the bottom of your card front stamp the shells from Seaside Bay with Crumb Cake ink along the bottom of the page.
Then emboss this page with the Painted Textures embossing folder. Put aside until ready to assemble.

BABY WIPE TECHNIQUE
To protect your surface use either a silicone craft mat or a plastic sleeve or something similar. Take about 3 baby wipes fold in half and stack on top of one another.
Drop a few drops of the three different re-inkers onto your baby wipes. Give a little time for the drops to seep together. Take the shell stamp from the Season of Chic set and push lightly onto your baby wipes and then stamp onto a piece of white cardstock. Do this twice to give you two shells. Take the rest of the piece of scrap white cardstock and tap onto the baby wipes where the inks are. This is what you will use to die cut the seaweed and the netting and another shell.

Stamp a shell from the Seaside Bay stamp set using crumb cake and die cut this shell out. This is to go at the base of the seaweed.
You should have in total 3 shells. Using piece coastal cabana card stock, die cut some seaweed as well.

Using versamark, stamp your sentiment onto black cardstock and heat emboss with white embossing powder. Cut this sentiment strip out. (No die cut for this).

Assemble your netting, seaweed and shells to the left of your card (Landscape). Some can be attached using Stampin Dimensionals. Attach the die cut shell (Crumb cake) at the base of a piece of the seaweed to the bottom right of the card.
Attach your sentiment with stampin dimensionals.
Add your pearls on shells.
